Cookie Policy
Last Updated: January 2, 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and provide information to the owners of the site.
Similar technologies, including web storage (localStorage, sessionStorage), pixels, tags, and SDKs, perform the same function. For the purposes of this policy, we refer to all of them as "cookies".
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Essential Cookies: Necessary for the operation of the website and the Service. These include authentication, session management, fraud prevention, and load balancing. Essential cookies do not require consent.
- Analytics Cookies: To understand how visitors interact with our website and Service in aggregate (e.g., page views, navigation paths). Used to improve the product.
- Functionality Cookies: To remember your preferences, such as your billing cycle selection on the pricing page or your dismissed announcements.
- Marketing Cookies: We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies on our own website. If we add them in the future, we will request consent before setting them and update this policy.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our website are set by third parties whose services we use to run and improve SignalSyncAds. These include:
- Paddle: Sets cookies during checkout and in the billing portal to process your subscription securely.
- Error monitoring and analytics provider: Sets cookies to collect aggregated, pseudonymized error and usage telemetry.
- Authentication provider: Sets cookies to keep you signed in across pages and to prevent session hijacking.
SignalSyncAds does not set Meta or Google advertising cookies on our own website. The conversion events we forward on your behalf are server-to-server; they do not depend on third-party cookies in your customers' browsers.
4. Cookie Duration
Cookies are either "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (stored on your device until they expire or you delete them). The specific duration of each cookie we set is determined by the third party that provides it; you can find typical durations in your browser's developer tools under the Application or Storage tab.
5. Managing Cookies and Consent
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences, including blocking or deleting cookies entirely. However, if you limit the ability of websites to set cookies, you may worsen your overall user experience, as some features (such as staying signed in) will no longer work.
Where required by applicable law (for example, in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland), we will request your consent before setting any non-essential cookies. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
Note: the actual consent flow (banner, reject-all parity, persistent preferences) must be implemented and verified by counsel before launch in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland. Do Not Track browser signals are not currently honored as a binding opt-out; we will update this policy if that changes.
6. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last revised.
